$1.96? Is it 2002 where you live?

here gas is at $1.06

$1.06 canadian a litre so about 4$ cnd a gallon, or about 3.00$ us a gallon.

And that’s the cheapest it’s been here since about 5-10 years.

It's usually a little higher here in my hometown (in western Kentucky) for some odd reason but approximately three stations in town are currently under the $2.00 mark. I'll take it.

I paid the equivalent of $6.50/gallon today :(

A full tank will only go 250 miles, so I’m reminded of this frequently.

Strangely my employer is growing despite the current situation.

Between 24.2 and 24.6. :( That's all city, though. My drive to and from work is a lot of stop and go.

True.

I just did the math and the on board computer is actually a bit pessimistic. I averaged just over 25 MPG and it showed 24.

We supply erosion and corrosion monitoring systems to the topside and subsea industry and luckily there’s a lot of big projects going on at the moment, lots of stuff in Egypt and the UAE, fortunately our products are required regardless of demand.

That’s great :) We provide sub sea, surface and drilling equipment. With the drop in oil prices, our customers have shelved or scaled back on some major projects that we were originally supposed to manufacture.

It’s not all rosy though, my company is part of a conglomerate and we are one of the few companies under the umbrella making a profit, a load of people were laid off in the US for another subsidiary.
